Anuradha is an accomplished senior banking professional with 3 decades of experience, of which over 2 decades have been with HSBC in the Middle East engaged in UAE.
Her experience has spanned operations to customer centric roles covering relationship management, transactional & investment banking operations, risk & compliance in Corporate, Global Banking & Markets with client coverage for multinationals, banking & non-government institutions, as well as middle to large corporates, government & supranational bodies.
Anuradha has been an integral member of HSBC’s global programme for transformation of risk management framework, financial crime detection and prevention framework, termed Global Standards. Her experience reflects key accomplishments across diverse initiatives and projects related to Global Wholesale Banking & Markets. These include operationalising set-up of new branches and functional teams, performance benchmarking standards, industry portfolio intelligence development and technology infrastructure integration.
She is well versed with diversity, having worked in several areas of risk including AML advisory, Basel 2/3 capital adequacy and liquidity framework, credit scoring model development for non-banking institutions and banks, credit risk and profitability management. This is complemented with compliance experience in KYC and client due diligence, client on-boarding and exit management.
Anuradha has One Planet Masters in Business Administration from University of Exeter (UK), Diploma in Compliance and Financial Crime from University of Reading (UK), Henley Business School (UK) and ICMA Centre (UK), in conjunction with Thomson Reuters and a Diploma in Financial Services from Institute of Financial Services (UK – formerly Chartered Institute of Bankers). She is also accredited in Fundamentals of Neurolinguistic programming and Transactional Analysis.
She is a Distinguished Toastmaster, the highest recognition by Toastmasters International USA and has been a recipient of several sustainability focused awards including the Regional Climate Champion award for 2011 from HSBC Bank Middle East, Global Climate Champion award for 2011 and the HSBC Sustainability Awards–Education in 2012.
