As Executive Director for Standard Chartered, he was entrusted with a distinguished portfolio of selective large and diversified corporate clients and family groups in UAE, with significant asset and revenue responsibility.
As a testament of his capability, he additionally managed the function for rehabilitation of special assets portfolio with turnaround solutions.
Tawfeeq’s experience spans across Corporate, Consumer, Investment Banking, Credit, Risk, Special Assets Remediation and Internal Audit.
Across his corporate and credit risk experience, he has acquired expertise from his extensive and profound exposure to diverse industries including Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Construction & Contracting, Oil & Gas, Foodstuffs, Retail, Trading and Services.
He has leveraged his strengths in strategic planning, governance and risk management with his origination skills to drive strong quality of business growth, sustainably exceeding performance benchmarks as well as drive business revival strategies for optimising recoveries through debt restructuring.
